A Conversation About the Musical Journey of Blues Guitar Great JOE BONAMASSA

This EDITION Show of “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” originally aired Wednesday, May 11, 2016

GUEST:  Blues-Rock Guitar Great JOE BONAMASSA

The musical guest on this very special edition of “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” is Grammy-nominated blues-rock guitar icon Joe Bonamassa.

Joe released his latest solo studio album, “Blues of Desperation” in late March.   Like his previous album, 2014’s Top 10 Billboard hit Different Shades of Blue,”  this new collection features all-original material, and it sees the maverick superstar guitarist, singer and songwriter tossing away the rule book.

Show host TOM LOUNGES will catch up with Joe for the first time in six years to talk about the new album, the current tour that brings him to Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville this Saturday, May 14th for an 8pm show, and his evolution as an artist — from playing with B.B. King at age 12 to where he is now at age 38.

Plenty of music will be featured as well — four songs from his latest album, a classic from his Royal Albert Hall concert album, and a song that helped start it all for Joe that was recorded while he was still a teenager.

This is a MUST HEAR show for all fans of guitar music!   Because this is a special show — this particular program will only get ONE live broadcast — no repeats — so tune in or stream tonight at 7:00pm Central!
