Today: Bail reform has received a lot of attention this year packed with emotional testimony both for and against House Enrolled Act 1300 which seeks to regulate the charitable bail industry. So we’re bringing back our conversations from advocate on both sides of the debate including a mother who lost her son to an individual out on bail as well as a representative from the only charitable bail organization operating in Indiana. But up first, Indiana Humanities recently awarded grants to two local non-profit organizations to provide public humanities programs.  All of that on this edition of Regionally Speaking.

Dee Dotson is the host and producer of our radio show/podcast, Regionally Speaking. Dee is responsible for connecting with the northwest Indiana community to share their stories with the Lakeshore Public Media listening audience.
