Guest:  VAL STARR (of VAL STARR & THE BLUES ROCKET)

This this week's edition of "Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges," brought "A Lighter Side of the Blues" to the Lakeshore Public Radio airwaves, as blues woman VAL STARR called in from California to talk music with TOM LOUNGES about her career, her unique blues style, and the making of  her newest full length album, "A Lighter Side of the Blues."

Val Starr & The Blues Rockets blasting off and blasting out her tasty West Coast style of blues live on stage.

"Midwest BEAT" listeners had the opportunity on this night, to hear  a fair share of original Starr songs from the new album inbetween the interview segments.  Val Starr is certainly NOT your father's blues artist, as she has a wholly unique and original sound and asassy style that's all her own!
