Today:   On this Reporters' Roundtable Thursday, we call on "Post-Tribune" education reporter Meredith Colias-Pete and "Times" Lake County government reporter Bill Dolan to tell us about the stories they offered to readers (in print and online) -- and we hear from Side Effects Public Media's Lauren Bavis and, from Lakeshore Public Radio, Sharon Jackson and Tommy Williams.

Meredith tells us about the word from Gary Diocese Bishop Donald Hying about future plans for Andrean High School, a new superintendent being sought for Duneland Schools and the successful life of a young autistic Gary resident who just got his college diploma.  Bill reports on the historic one-time-only meeting of the Lake County Council in the old courtroom of the historic Lake County Courthouse in downtown Crown Point, among other stories.

Lauren Bavis tells us her digital story on consent and how is is taught in the classroom.  Sharon Jackson interviews a magazine writer about the first woman U.S. Marine, sworn into service 100 years ago.  And Tommy Williams interviews the Valparaiso University head basketball coach.
