Today:   On this "Reporters' Roundtable." we ask the "Times'" Dan Carden to talk about his stories from the Indiana Gaming Commission on the Gary casino and sports wagering that take effect this weekend.  We also talked with "Post-Tribune" writer Carole Carlson about her stories on the latest Gary Police Department officer shooting and discussion at the Common Council and the vote on the city and Spectacle Entertainment vote on the casino. "Post-Tribune" sunmer interm Hannah Reed talked about her story on northwest Indiana birth rates and Laheshore Public Radio's Sharon Jsckson had her story about the Ravinia summer concerts. 

Purdue University Northwest "Sinai Forum" executive director Leslie Plesac talked about the 2019 speakers coming to northwest Indiana this fall emester.
