Merrillville - Drive-thru testing at Merrillville High School, 276 E. 68th Place, will continue until next Monday or Tuesday, according to State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box.

Box stated in Thursday's regular press conference that 225 health care workers, long-term care workers, first responders, and essential workers who are symptomatic with COVID-19 were tested at the drive-thru location.

Participants should bring a driver’s license or other state-issued identification card and documentation of place of employment.

The drive-thru testing is through a joint partnership with the Lake County Health Department and the Indiana State Department of Health.
