Today is Election Day in Indiana as the state expanded vote-by-mail to anyone who wanted it for this year’s primary, a reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic. Brandon Smith has a special report on why it may take days for the final tally of many races to come in as more than 500,000 Hoosiers requested an absentee ballot. Mark Edward Wilows is a children’s book author. He joins us to discuss his latest project-- the heartwarming story “Silas and Sophie”. We’ll revisit a conversation with the Hanover Schools superintendent Mary McAuley as she discusses a referendum on the ballot for various projects including a new facility. And, we bring you a special edition of Building Northwest Indiana.
