Inflation in the U.S. is at a 40- year high causing food and gas prices to surge. Rapidly rising rents as well as end to federal COVID-19 relief have taken a financial toll on households. Food banks are struggling to meet the demand as federal programs provide less food to distribute and donations diminish. Food Bank of NWI President and CEO Victor Garcia joined Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson an Tom Maloney to discuss how his organization is working hard to support community members faced with food insecurity.
