Regionally Speaking, Monday, February 19, 2018

Today:  A special edition of "Regionally Speaking" of the question-and-answer portion of the Feb. 7, 2018 public forum held at the Glen Theatre in Gary by the members of north Lake County's state legislative delegation. Most of the questions by constituents were about the House bill sponsored by Rep. Earl Harris, Jr., which sought to change the IDEM rules on the distance of a construction-demolition waste site from nearby residential property in the city of Gary.  Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson was also on-hand to answer some questions.
