Kokomo Perspective/Brian Howey

Today:  on this Reporters' Roundtable Thursday, we call on LaPorte "Herald Argus" and Michigan City "News Dispatch" reporter Jon Gard for his stories published and posted this week, as well as stories from "Post-Tribune" reporter Greg Tejeda.    And we have, on the phone from Brown County, "Howey Politics Indiana" creator and editor Brian Howey for a look at politics around the state and country.

Jon reports the latest from the LaPorte County Council and improvements planned by NIPSCO at the Kingsbury Industrial Park.  Greg fills us in on the Gary Common Council's meeting that featured some young protestors unhappy with plans for a solid waste processing facility across the street from their school.  He also has an update on the old Gary City Methodist Church ruins site, and more about another round of scholarships to help college-bound students in Gary.
