Today:   Noted Indiana economist -writer-public speaker Morton Marcus joins us from "on the road" in the state to review his recent "Eye on the Pie" columns that he offers to Hoosier media.  This time, he talks about the state's many regions, among other topics -- and he also discusses a column he recently wrote where he complains about the President's "telegraphing" economic news ahead of the public release deadline.for his personal political uses.

We talked with Jamie Williams, the director of marketing for Ameristar Casino in East Chicago, about the new facility that opened last month that is the Region's first landside gaming area.

In the second half of the show, Ann Lui, assistant professor at the School of the Art Instiute of Chicago, joins us to talk about the school's teaming up with other institutions to set up the U.S. Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Bienalle.  It's an event that highlights local achitects, landscape architects, designers and artistson an international stage.  Ann says the theme focuses on citizenship.  You can learn more about it on the School's website.

And we have another conversation from the welcome Project at Valparaiso University, this time about the day that Gary residents elected Richard Hatcher as Mayor.
