Today:   the Superintendent of the Lake County Fairgrounds, Paul Carlson, joins us in the studio to talk about the facility in Crown Point that is in use year-round -- and is getting ready this month for the two weeks in the summer when it becomes the home of the Lake County Fair.

We have another conversation from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University.   The Welcome Project collects first-person stories and pairs these with intentional conversation to help forge stronger ties within and across our communities.

And we talk with Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra music director and conductor Kirk Muspratt about the 12th Annual South Shore Summer Music Festival, with concerts beginning July 21st along Cedar Lake.
