Purdue Univ. Ft Wayne

Today: Andy Downs, executive director of the Mike Downs Center for IN Politics, at Purdue Ft Wayne, is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about the May 3rd primary elections and the residency rules for the candidates, including U.S. House of Representatives. It’s legal for congressional candidates to not live in districts they represent, but if they don’t – they run the risk of appearing like an outsider. We have another conversation from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University. And Purdue University Northwest Dean of the School of Technology Niaz Latif talks about the new B.S. in Cybersecurity degree which is coming to the University beginning this fall. The Purdue University Board of Trustees voted April 8th to offer the degree, subject to approval from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.
