Today: Dezimon Alicea, a prevention assistant at Geminus Prevention Services, is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about "SAFE In Lake County" and how the organization helps residents in the fight against substance use, abuse and misuse. He also describes a program available to the public which uses a scientifically-proven product to render drugs useless and safe to dispose. "Times of Northwest Indiana" reporter and author Joseph Pete talks about his latest book "Secret Northwest Indiana: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful and Obscure." We find out more about an organization called "We Are The Village, Inc." and its accompanying podcast to help parents who have autistic children.
