The ACLU Indiana and Planned Parenthood filed a lawsuit challenging Indiana's new near-total ban on abortions, which currently go into effect September 15, 2022. We're bringing back our conversations with representatives from Lake County's Right to Life and Planned Parenthood Alliance Great Northwest to get their reaction to the legislation. But up first, one of the Indiana Dunes National Park volunteers is the national recipient of the National Park Service’s George and Helen Hartzog Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. This award recognizes and honors the efforts of exceptional "Volunteers In Parks," or VIPs.
