IU Northwest

Today:   Indiana University Northwest economist Micah Pollak joins us with an update on northwest Indiana's economy performed in 2018, based on the NWI Coincident Index and its companion NWIImputed Gross Metro Index.  Pollak also offers a forecast for 2019, as well.  We have two conversations, from residents of Gary, from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University.  And the executive director of the Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest, Stephanie Blackstock, talks about the changeover of the facility near Valparaiso that happened during February 2018.  The 300-acre Arboretum was acquired through a donation by founders Damien and Rita Gabis and the Taltree board of directors.
