The Musical Stylings of Brigette Purdy and Jack Whittle

Singer and songwriter Brigitte Purdy is based in Los Angeles where she hosts Brigitte hosts her own Los Angeles-based blues radio program "Ms. Purdy's Traveling Blues Show". She also produces and hosts a blues artist interview podcast called, "Purdy Amazing People."

Songs from her albums and a few brand new numbers will be featured during this program as Ms. Purdy talks with Tom Lounges about the latest projects in her life and the three live shows that bring her back to the Midwest. Brigitte has performed with many top name artists over the years, including singing back up for rock legends Paul Rodgers and The Who.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
