Glenn Hughes & Doug Aldrich of The Dead Daisies

Two key members of hard rock supergroup THE DEAD DAISIES -- GLENN HUGHES (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion) and DOUG ALDRICH (Dio, Whitesnake) will talk with show host/producer Tom Lounges about their personal journey through the music business, The Dead Daisies group history, and the band's new 2022 album "RADIANCE."

Selections songs from that new Dead Daisies album will be played during the program. The Dead Daisies are currently on tour promoting the new release.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.

  • Chicago rocker/actor Pete Berwick is working on a new book that chronicles the colorful, albeit too short recording career of the iconic denim-clad band, THE BOYZZ FROM ILLINOIZZ.The Boyzz were a Chicago biker bar band with a distinct Southern Rock feel Established in 1977, the group initially comprised front man Dirty Dan Buck, guitarist Mike Tafoya and Gil Pini, bassist David Angel, keyboard player Anatole Halinkovitch with Kent Cooper on the drums.The author will be live in studio to talk about the project and how he came to take on writing about this colorful band of rowdies who epitomized the title of their solo 1979 EPIC RECORDS release, "TOO WILD TO TAME."Calling in to join the conversation and share stories from the glory days of the band will be former lead vocalist and front man DIRTY DAN BUCK.
  • Gone2Paradise (featuring Frank Paul) is a touring Jimmy Buffett tribute group that offers up all the Buffett favorites one can hope to hear, along with some surprises slipped into the set list and delivered in a tropical style.The group will be performing as the headliner for "The (Bull)Dog Daze Of Summer Concert" this at Bulldog Park Pavilion in Crown Point. The event features food vendors, a cash bar, and three live bands.
