The Valparaiso Family YMCA is committed to enriching the lives of all in our community. This free community event will include interactive demonstrations and educational resources for adults, families, and caregivers as they navigate the health, financial, and wellness aspects of aging.
Strengthen and elevate your relationship building skills with donors at various financial support levels by reviewing the fundamentals of communication, understanding the barriers that interrupt how a message is received, and improve your active listening skills to minimize miscommunication.
Full participation in Master Fundraising Communication: Utilize 4 Active Listening Skills for Success is applicable for 2.0 points in Category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

What is Heels for Meals?The 6th Annual Heels for Meals is an event to benefit the programs and services of Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana. The event is a high-energy networking and game night experience, complete with a “swanky soles and socks” competition. Game hosts are select organizations that provide a service to our community. We want our guests to have fun while learning about local resources! Guests will also enjoy fabulous small bites prepared by Chef Jorge Sullon and live music led by Meals on Wheels driver and local music legend Lannie Turner. All at one of the spunkiest little venues in Northwest Indiana, the Design Barn in Hebron.
