“MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” welcomed as the musical guest for this installment of the program, Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, musician WILL HOGE, whose songs have been famously recorded by the likes of Lady Antebellum(“Better Off Now”) and The Eli Young Band(“Even If It Breaks Your Heart”).  

Hoge is currently touring in support of his 2015 studio album — “Small Town Dreams” —  and his brand new concert album, “Solo & Live – December 2015.”

On this program Hoge discusses his musical journey while selections from his latest two albums are spotlighted.  Hoge’s benefit concert benefitting Valparaiso’s The Respite House on April 16 at Valparaiso’s Memorial Opera House (104 Indiana Avenue) will also be part of the discussion, along the state of substance addiction in Northwest Indiana.

Mitch Peters of The Respite House who produces the annual fundraising concert will also guest in-studio to talk about the facility which is a residential rehabilitation facility for adult men battling with addiction issues.  More: www.respitehouse.org.  

 

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
