Rockers OPEN YOUR EYES Stop By Midwest BEAT to Open Some Ears With New Album

This edition of “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” originally aired on Tuesday, May 10, 2016

Musical Guest:  Modern Rock Band OPEN YOUR EYES

The musical guest on this installment of “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” is the long running, hard-rocking Northwest Indiana-based rock quartet OPEN YOUR EYES. The all original band made their latest record with producer Brandon Saller of Atreyu and a guest appearance by Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate.

The work and time invested in the process of creating a band and taking it to success is considerable; something OPEN YOUR EYES knows all too well — having invested years of creative energy into their music and performances — sometimes spending 300-plus days out on the road touring from one town to the next just to get their music heard.

OPEN YOUR EYES is comprised of singer and guitarist JUSTIN KING, bassist COMRON FOULADI, drummer SANDRA ALVA, and guitarist RYAN STEINBERG.

Signed to KBB Records in 2015, OPEN YOUR EYES released their debut recording, “Truth or Consequence,” which charted at #25 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart; followed by coast to coast touring, with a history of sold out Chicagoland shows.

On this program music from their latest CD will be heard, along with some live in studio acoustic performances, as their story is told.   Tune in to meet a focused and determined Northwest Indiana-based band on the rise.
