This “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” program originally aired on Monday, November 7, 2016.

MUSICAL GUEST: ISAAC SLADE of THE FRAY

Modern rock band — THE FRAY — performs this Saturday, November 11th at The Chicago Theater in downtown Chicago.   For regional fans of the band, “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” is presenting a special broadcast this evening featuring the group’s co-founder, lead singer, keyboardist and front man, ISAAC SLADE, as the call in guest.

Slade started singing when he was 8-years-old, and began playing the piano at age 11, after temporarily losing his voice.   He wrote his first song when he was 16 and learned to play guitar while in high school During his chat with program host Tom Lounges, Slade will chat a bit about the group, their current tour, his songwriting, and the body of music in the The Fray’s catalog, including the just released “Best Of The Fray: Through The Years,” which features three brand new songs.

Listeners to this evening’s special broadcast will hear all three of those brand new tunes, along with some fan favorites
