The international musical guest on this edition of “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with Tom Lounges” is the 1980s MTV synth-rocker most famous for his own solo hits like “She Blinded Me With Science”“Hyperactive,” and “Airwaves” — THOMAS DOLBY — who also contributed to a broad spectrum of songs made famous by artists ranging from Def Leppard and Foreigner, to Lene Lovich and The Thompson Twins…to name but a few.

Thomas Dolby is now a college professor at John Hopkins University and recently authored his memoir — “The Speed of Sound: Breaking the Barriers Between Music & Technology” for Flat Iron Books.
