Rockabilly Veteran Buzz Cason Chats About His Career, Meeting Elvis and New Album "PASSION"

Rockabilly Hall of Fame inductee -- BUZZ CASON -- was the live call in guest on this edition of "A LOOK AT THE ARTS."

Cason's albums "Record Machine," "Hats Off To Hank", "Busload Of Love", "Working Without A Net", "Surf And Turf" and "Troubadour Heart" have all received heavy airplay on satellite radio and public radio stations.

The veteran singer/songwriter/performer has a brand new album called "Passion."   Selections from it are be spotlighted on this program as Tom chats with Cason his long career in music, meeting Elvis Presley,  the craft of songwriting, and much more.  

Cason is quite the chatty and interesting fellow and has been called the "Father of Nashville Rock," recently honored y the Cobuntry Music Hall of Fame as part of their "Poets & Prophets" series.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
