APRIL IS INTERNATIONAL GUITAR MONTH!  In honor of that, each week in APRIL "MIDWEST BEAT with TOM LOUNGES" features a Guitar Guest.

This week's guitar-driven installment of "MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges," features guitar virtuoso and rock legend, STEVE HACKETT (formerly of Genesis).   Hackett has just released his latest solo album, "The Night Siren, via the InsideOut Music/Sony label.

"The Night Siren" showcases Steve’s incredible guitar, along with musicians from several different countries, including singers from Israel and Palestine.  This collection of songs features a multiplicity of sounds, including the Indian sitar and Middle Eastern tar and oud, the Peruvian charango, and Celtic Uilleann pipes.  This is a case of prog-rock guitar god meets World Music and certainly not a show to miss!
