This program focused on the various live musical artists being presented in the 2017 Lakeshore Public Media Showcase Tent at the upcoming 165th Lake County Fair.   

Chatting about the fair with show host and Showcase Tent manager TOM LOUNGES, was Lake County Fair Board Secretary ARLENE MARCINEK and ELIZABETH & JARED LAMB, founders of Lake County's LYRICAL STRINGS ensemble which perform at the 2017 fair.  

The program also features some recorded music by some of the artists booked to perform free concerts in the Lakeshore Public Media Showcase Tent, including JERICA PALIGA, LIZ MANDEVILLE  and CAPERNAUM.

For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
