Engine Summer Heats Up Chicago

Engine Summer strikes a chord of harmony this Summer of 2017 releasing four new songs within this interview.

Groovy and high spirited band members, Ben Kostecki and Jeremy Marsan hop On the Radar with Sarah Opat to talk about passion, jams, and upcoming shows in Chicago.

If you were wondering, the interview was a three way conference call on a Thursday evening.

The interview features Engine Summer 's new releases including, Commander, Cab, Basement, and Outro.

Engine Summer shoots a spit ball right on the money with groovy transitions in all four new songs.

Chicagoians may fly the W. While Engine Summer flies the jams through different doors of genres including punk rock, psychedelic and funk.

Bass player, Kostecki shares insight on growth and transition within the band. He says, "We've tightened up the bolts and also have a new drummer. I'm excited for you to hear our new tracks"

Opat asked, "How does music serve your soul?" Kostecki says, "Music serves as a channel for emotion."

Guitar wizard, Marsan finds inspiration in listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival and sitting down to jam with his buddy Ben. The two mash up harmonies.

The fire between  Marsan's guitar and Kostecki's bass serves the hungry souls looking to munch on epic transitions. These guys create a new fresh take on garage rock.

You'll be wondering how these people came up with such rhythms. Then tapping your foot to the funky beat.

The band members melted into coexistence back in high school. It was then, Marsan and Kostecki discovered their shared love for CCR. The bromance has blossomed into a beautiful soul rocking band.

The harmonies are even better in their band, Engine Summer.
