This edition of "MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges" features veteran Americana songwriter and recording artist ROBBIE FULKS, who performed that same evening at The Acorn Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan.   Songs will be featured from Fulks' new, Grammy-nominated album, "UPLAND STORIES," as well as a classic catalog cut or two.   

Tom's guest co-host for this program will be regional music favorite COUSIN DAVE NEELEY to play some tunes live in-studio with local vocalist SHELLY KOII.  Dave will chat about his career, songwriting and sit in on the interview with fellow Americana artists ROBBIE FULKS and DAVE RUDOLF

Tom Lounges Interviews Cousin Dave Neeley and folk singer Robbie Fulks

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
