JOSEPH MORGANFIELD, the youngest son of MUDDY WATERS -- "The Father of Chicago Blues" -- returned to the Lakeshore studio to join Tom Lounges for a second time in two years to continue talking about his own career, the music and legacy of his iconic father, and the heritage of Chicago blues he has dedicated his life to perpetuate. 

The "Mojo" was surely be working during this broadcast.  as musical selections from both Joseph and Muddy were featured during the program.

Joseph "Mojo" Morganfield dropped in to guest live in the Lakeshore Radio Studio doing "Midwest BEAT" with show host Tom Lounges.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
