Lakeshore Public Radio's summer membership is underway, and this time we're trying something new. We know how important the quality local and national programming is to you, here in Northwest Indiana, and that's why we're going silent!
Yup! A silent drive.
You might be asking yourself, "What's a silent drive?" I'm glad you've asked.
A silent drive is still a fundraising pledge drive, but without the breaks and interruptions in programming that are often included in pledge drives. Instead of interruptions in your favorite programs, you'll hear more spots running during regularly scheduled breaks.
Our award winning reporting staff, as you already know, does great work to cover breaking news, issues in East Chicago, and most importantly, telling Northwest Indiana's stories. For this Summer 2017 pledge drive, we're looking to raise $5,000.00, to upgrade reporter kits, between now and Friday, June 23rd.
