Police Seeking Tips About Missing Juvenile

SCHERERVILLE--The Lake County Sheriff's Department are asking the public for information concerning the whereabouts of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday, April 28th.  Sheriff's office Spokesman Mark Back said, police responded to a call regarding a possible runaway juvenile on the 1100 block of E. Highway 330.  After speaking with her parents around 1 A.M. Friday, police initiated a search for Amelia May King.

King was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a tank top with different shades of gray, and a black hooded sweatshirt with red sleeves and the band name "My Chemical Romance" on it. King is a Caucasian female with long brown hair, and approximately 4 foot 11 and weighing around 100 lbs.  She had two backpacks with her: One which is red and blue with a diamond design and one with kittens and puppies.
