BREAKING @ 11 A.M. - Lowell Water Main Break, Tri-Creek Schools Early Dismissal

LOWELL --  The Tri-Creek School Corp. is dismissing classes early because of a reported water main break and lack of water in the school buildings.

From:  Dr. Debra Howe, Superintendent of the Tri-Creek School Corporation.

Due to the water main break and lack of water pressure throughout town, the school district will initiate an early dismissal today. Lowell middle and high school students will be dismissed at 11:00 today. The elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:45 and will have expedited lunches.

Parents who wish to pick up their students before bus dismissal may do so effective immediately. High School student drivers will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m. There will be no Adventure Club. An update on after school activities will be shared when we learn more from the town. Students on buses who do not have supervision at home will be transported back to Lake Prairie Elementary School. Students who are car pickups and have not been picked up will also be transported to Lake Prairie Elementary School. Parents should bring identification to the school for verification when picking up students.
