Keeping Water Supplies Moving Without Waste: A Constant Quest

videohive images

We turn on the faucet and expect the water to flow freely, but it isn't always that simple a procedure.  The flow is oftentimes interrupted by leaks in antiquated pipes.  Water utilities may not make regular inspections of their piping to search for these leaks.

Indiana state Senator Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) has been addressing these issues of making sure Indiana residents have enough clean water to drink or use at home or at work. He spoke at-length about his efforts for years in the Indiana General Assembly to improve the state's water infrastructure on "Regionally Speaking" on Thursday.  Here's the conversation.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
