Regionally Speaking, Wednesday, June 27, 2018

Today:   We have two conversations regarding the grassroots campaign to encourage town and city councils across the state to get their legislators to support redistricting reform.  First, we bring back the discussion between Leigh Morris, a veteran northwest Indiana government and community official and Whiting Mayor Joe Stahura in the studio -- along with Susan Duncan of the League of Women Voters Calumet Area -- which we aired earlier.  Leter,  Julia Vaughn of Common Cause Indiana joins us to give us a legal update on the redistricting reform effort.

Carl Lisek of South Shore Clean Cities is back with a new edition of "Green Fleet Radio," and our friend in fur, Ollie, is in with a look at the physical and psychological threats that shooting off fireworks pose to pets

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
