Regionally Speaking, Monday, February 25, 2019

Today:  We talk to Sheila Brillson Matias, the executive director of the Leadership Institute at Purdue Northwest and its companion Society of Innovators, about the two organizations now housed at the Hammond campus.   The university bills the Institute (formerly known as the South Shore Leadership Center) as northwest Indiana's leadership resource center.  We also have conversations with Dennis Wimer, the new director of the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs.  Wimer took over an agency that was involved in a controversial policy of agency emplotees gettign emergency grants that were not entitled to them.  And we also bring back our look at the March 7th "One Campus, One Book, One Community" program on the Indiana University Northwest campus.
