Today:   A conversation with Lake County Assessor and Gary Mayor-elect Jerome Prince, who is preparing to take office in January 2020.  He talks about the work done so far for become Mayor, the Hard Rock Casino project in his city and his views on the lifting of property tax caps in 2020 and the impact on the city of Gary.  Emily Wornell with the Indiana Communities project at Ball State University joins us to discuss the recent report on the importance of immigrants on the Hoosier State.  She co-authored a report with Michael Hicks, the director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at BSU.  And we bring you  our conversation with Angelique Munro, a transgender woman with connections to northwest Indiana, who is currently Miss Trans Indiana and entering her first pageant for the title of Miss Trans USA 2020.
