Indiana Small Business Owners Are Still Urgently Waiting For Financial Assistance

US Small Business Association

“Regionally Speaking” host Chris Nolte has a conversation with Barbara Quandt a NFIB State Director in Indiana about small businesses still urgently awaiting financial assistance via the Paycheck Protection Program. Jason Smith, the owner of Car Care in Merrillville joins in the discussion to offer insight how the application process has been both stressful as well as frustrating.

NFIB is the voice of small business, advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners, both in Washington, D.C., and in all 50 state capitals. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven. Since it’s founding in 1943, NFIB has been exclusively dedicated to small and independent businesses, and remains so today. Lakeshore Public Radio 89.1FM, initially known as The Lakeshore 89.1FM, first hit the airwaves across Northwest Indiana on January 19, 2010. The station was created after the board of directors for Lakeshore Public Media, which also operates our sister station Lakeshore PBS, saw the need for regional access to a public radio station in order to provide localized up-to-the-minute news and information for NW Indiana residents.
