Veterans Affairs Telehealth Technologies Provide Timely, High Quality Health Care

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

“Regionally Speaking” host Chris Nolte has a conversation with Neil Evans, Chief Officer for the Veterans Adminstration’s Office of Connected Care about the transition to telehealth during the coronavirus pandemic. Telehealth services provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are increasing access to care for veterans and helping to eliminate the need for patients to travel to the nearest VA facility for a variety of appointments.

Lakeshore Public Radio 89.1FM, initially known as The Lakeshore 89.1FM, first hit the airwaves across Northwest Indiana on January 19, 2010. The station was created after the board of directors for Lakeshore Public Media, which also operates our sister station Lakeshore PBS, saw the need for regional access to a public radio station in order to provide localized up-to-the-minute news and information for NW Indiana residents.
