Regionally Speaking, Monday, June 8, 2020

Today: Lake County residents affected by recent flooding or sewage damage due to recent storms are encouraged to fill out a Disaster Intake/Assessment Form. American Red Cross Executive Director Kristin Marlow-Kellerman along with Lake Area United Way Vice President, Community Impact Andrea Proulx Buinicki join us to tell us how the data collected will help FEMA assess the need for the county.  June marks the mid-way point of 2020 and there were a lot of unanticipated events that have impacted the economy. Northwest Indinaa financial advisor Greg Hammer joins us with a mid-year financial review. We revisit a conversation Purdue University Human Development and Family Studies Professor Shelley MacDermid Wadsworth recently spoke with Chris Nolte about a 10-week faculty driven initiative to support families during the coronavirus pandemic. And we bring you a special edition of Art on the Air.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
