The Right to Life National Committee hosted a convention in Georgia Friday, June 24, 2022 just as we all received the news about the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade declaring that the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half century, no longer exists. Legal experts say the court's decision will pose new questions for other courts to deal with questions about how to apply the specific language of the final ruling to individual state laws. Over the coming days, weeks and months we will hear from experts in the field of constitutional law, medical practitioners’ as well as community stakeholders as we work to understand what the SCOTUS decision will mean for all of us. Lake County Right to Life President Len Reynolds recently joined Lakeshore Public Radio’s Dee Dotson to discuss the position of Pro-Life Hoosiers in the Region.

As co-host and producer of Regionally Speaking, Dee is responsible for connecting with northwest Indiana community newsmakers to share their stories with the Lakeshore Public Radio listening audience. She believes in the power of storytelling to engag, teach and change lives. Prior to working at Lakeshore Public Radio, Dee enjoyed giving her time, talent, and resources to various community organizations. Dee believes in servant leadership. Her favorite quote is "Leadership is service not position." by Tim Fargo.
