In recognition of National Family Caregivers Month and National Alzheimer's Awareness Month Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson speaks with Julie Collins, Northwest Indiana Program Manager with the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter. The organization's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

1. Never argue, instead agree

3.Never shame, instead distract
4.Never lecture, instead reassure
5.Never say "remember", instead reminisce
