All IN: The Complicated Legacy Of The Man Who Tried To Feed The World

Agronomist Norman Borlaug led a “Green Revolution” of agriculture programs estimated to have saved one billion lives. But some argue those efforts came with unintended consequences.

Today a history professor joins us to talk about Borlaug’s complicated legacy. The professor is featured in a new documentary about Borlaug, “The Man Who Tried To Feed The World,” which premiers tonight on PBS.

Produced by Matt Pelsor.

Guests:

Nick Cullather
Author, “The Hungry World: America’s Cold War Battle Against Poverty in Asia”
