In what's expected to be one of the largest turnouts in Midterm Election history, Lakeshore Public Radio - 89.1 FM will have live coverage as the polls close, and Hoosiers find out what the next two-years will entail. Coverage will begin at 6:00 PM, on Lakeshore Public Radio - 89.1 FM, streaming on LakeshorePublicRadio.org, and on Facebook Live.
Locally, Chris Nolte will takeover the microphone at 8:00 PM, with Richard Rupp and Tim Sanders of Purdue Northwest, and Leigh Morris, the former Mayor of LaPorte. Ryan Priest will provide updated polling numbers, and coverage will be streamed on-line on Facebook live.
Following statewide and local coverage, we'll provide NPR coverage through the night. The regular Tuesday night line-up of "Midwest Beat," "World Cafe," "Don's Basement Tapes," and "The Scope" will return the following week.
