The Mar. 23 County Metrics Map from the Indiana Department of Health shows a low COVID-19 spread in all but five counties.

All but five Indiana counties are seeing a low spread of COVID-19, according to this week's County Metrics Map from the Indiana Department of Health. Newton and Starke counties are among the five coded yellow. That indicates a moderate spread, based on the number of cases per capita and positivity rates.

The statewide seven-day positivity rate is at its lowest level since last June, and virtually all Northwest Indiana counties have positivity rates below five percent.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's separate Community Levels map, which also incorporates hospital admissions and capacity, puts all of Indiana in the green, expect for three counties in eastern Indiana.
