Police are investigating after a body was found in Lake Michigan on Tuesday.
Indiana Conservation Officers say a visitor to Whiting Lakefront Park saw a man's body about 200 yards from shore at around 2:00 p.m. First responders recovered the body northeast of the park near the BP Water Purification Plant.
The man's identity hadn't been released to the public, as of Wednesday morning.
