The Feeling of Jazz, program # 293 airing July 2, 2017 featured a spotlight on The Count Basie Orchestra (a/k/a "The Atomic Band") Live in Hollywood (1958), (years active: 1935 to Present; surviving long past the Big Band era itself and the death of Basie in 1984.
