Iconic Vocalist PAUL RODGERS Remains Rock's "Free Spirit"

Tom Lounges

This edition of "MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges" orginally aired on July 27, 2018 on 89.1FM - Lakeshore Public Radio.

On this program, iconic classic rock vocalist PAUL RODGERS chats with show host/producer Tom Lounges about "FREE SPIRIT," his latest live album celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his seminal British blues/rock group FREE as listeners are treated to cuts from that album and others.

Rodgers also chats about the "Stars Align U.S. Tour" with Jeff Beck, Ann Wilson and Deborah Bonham, the future of Bad Company, and animal rescue and loving what he's doing in life.

Along with his lovely wife Cynthia, Paul Rodgers has contributed and supported the animal rescue efforts of The Willows Animal Sanctuary in Scotland, and others rescues, including The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana for many years.

Paul Rodgers remains one of Lounges' all time favorite guests and favorite entertainers.   "Paul is as genuine and down-to-earth as they come, and a real pleasure to interview," says Lounges.  "He and his wife Cynthia are salt-of-the-earth people whose impact goes so much farther than just the music world."
