Today:  City of Valparaiso Parks and Recreation Director John Seibert talks about how the Parks Foundation is a key participant in park improvement projects like the Tower Park renovation, now underway.  The project is being supported by the Foundation's "Leaders Giving Back" initiative.

We have the latest on the bill moving through the Indiana General Assembly that calls for some changes in Gary Community Schools' financial accountability.  State Representative Charlie Brown (D-Gary) talks about the measure, created by Senator Eddie Melton, that could come up for review in the House this week.

How did a black physician in Indianapolis, forbidden from working at most city hospitals, become one of the world's most expert cardiologists?  The answer is in this week's Indiana Humanities "Quantum Leap" report.
