IU Northwest

Today:   on this post-Election Day program, we have Indiana University Northwest economist Micah Pollak and his "Northwest Indiana Coincident Index" report for this year and going into 2019.  It's a very positive report on the local economy.  And we talked with a Munster native who is attending Ball State University and is working in an immersive learning course that is helping a Muncie non-profit healthcare agency.  Haley Collison is double-majoring in human resources and marketing.

On this week's "Green Fleet Radio," host Carl Lisek from South Shore Clean Cities talks with Family Express president and CEO Gus Olympidis about, among other topics, the company's groundbreaking involvement in E-85 fuels.  Franciscan Health Crown Point executive Dr. Daniel McCormick talks about the heathcare group's collaboration with Northwestern Memorial Hospitals to creat the "Tele-Stroke" service at four Lake County facilities.  And "friend in fur" Ollie is back with more pet questions.  "Ask Ollie" is supported by the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
