Suzette Clayton

Current co-president of the Porter County League of Women Voters, Suzette Clayton previously lived in Lake County for over 37 years, and has now resided in Porter County since 2013. Suzette has connected with Northwest Indiana communities through her years of teaching middle school in the Lake Central School Corporation, as well as her extensive volunteer work in the public libraries and daycare centers. 

Suzette sees the importance of her role as a Vice-Chair of Lakeshore Public Media Community Advisory Board as being one of outreach on behalf of the TV and radio stations, to engage with the diverse communities served. Upholding LPM’s commitment to the Region by providing listeners and viewers with current events, political forums, entertainment and historical background, Suzette recognizes that our public radio and TV stations can only be as successful as the active participation of its supporters.
